Credit: Kate Green\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The tour is charted in a new six-part Disney+ series titled The End of an Era, where the &#8216;Life of a Showgirl&#8217; star, 36, is seen dishing out massive cheques to those that worked on her shows.<\/p>\n<p>In one clip, Taylor is seen gathering some of her crew around her as she hands out envelopes to each of them, telling them: &#8220;Everyone has the same message on their card, I was hoping you would open it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Her handwritten letter said:\u2060 &#8220;We\u2019ve traveled the world like we set out to do. We\u2019ve dazzled the crowds, but we\u2019ve missed family too.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My full gratitude doesn\u2019t come from a bank, but here\u2019s [redacted] dollars just to say thanks. Love, Taylor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The actual amount Taylor gifted them was redacted in the show, but their reactions said all there was to know. Her team were seen becoming overwhelmed with emotion when they saw the amount written on their cheques.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Taylor Swift gifts Eras Tour workers $197M in bonuses\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cl1s_Y4RGMY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Taylor is believed to have handed out over $197 million in bonuses, with everyone getting a share &#8211; including truck drivers that had helped carry her staging and equipment on the road, who were said to have received $100,000 each on top of their wages.<\/p>\n<p>As Taylor wrote her cards for &#8220;bonus day&#8221;, she explained: &#8220;Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with The Eras Tour is really important to me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because people who work on the road, if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus, and these people just work so hard and they are the best at what they do.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So, every single person on the crew, I\u2019ve handwritten them a note. It took me a couple weeks, but it\u2019s fun to write the notes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The documentary also showed the moment Taylor broke down in tears hearing about a horrific attack on young children at a dance class themed to her music.<\/p>\n<p>Three schoolgirls &#8211; Alice, Elsie, and Bebe &#8211; were murdered in Southport, UK, by Axel Rudakubana at the Taylor Swift-themed class last year. I\u2019m going to meet some of these families tonight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s going to be fine as I am not going to be doing this. I am going to be smiling so any of this gets out of the way before you go on stage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8220;We are in London at my hotel and basically it is a weird feeling going into these last five shows in Europe because it sort of feels like, we\u2019ve done 128 shows so far but this is the first one where I feel like, I am skating on thin ice or something.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have had a series of very violent and scary things happen to the tour like we dodged a massacre situation.
