Social media users have picked up on a particular comment US Vice President JD Vance made during his and President Trump’s heated exchange with President Zelenskyy.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

On Friday, the world was left in disbelief as a high-profile meeting at the Oval Office between Trump and Zelenskyy devolved into a heated and chaotic war of words.<\/p>\n

President Trump accused the Ukrainian leader of being “disrespectful” to the United States, as the two leaders were supposed to be discussing a potential minerals agreement that could serve as a precursor to the US helping the European nation achieve peace from Russia’s invasion.<\/p>\n

However, seemingly irked by several of Zelenskyy’s comments – Trump told the Ukrainian president: “You right now are not in a very good position. You\u2019ve allowed yourself to be in a very bad position. You don\u2019t have the cards right now. With us, you start having the cards.<\/p>\n

“You\u2019re gambling with lives of millions of people, you\u2019re gambling with World War Three and what you\u2019re doing is very disrespectful to this country.”<\/p>\n

Trump then added: “You\u2019re buried there. Your people are dying. You\u2019re running low on soldiers […] You\u2019re not acting at all thankful. And that\u2019s not a nice thing. I\u2019ll be honest, that\u2019s not a nice thing.”<\/p>\n

However, amid the chaos, one particular comment from Vice President Vance has been mocked by social media users.<\/p>\n

Vance Mocked For ‘Embarrassing’ Comment<\/strong><\/span>
\nDuring the meeting, Vance told reporters that peace had failed to be reached because of the former president Joe Biden, and stated that Trump was allowing for diplomacy to take over. The conversation then because heated as it unfolded…<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy:<\/strong><\/span> What kind of diplomacy, JD, are you are asking about? What do you mean?<\/p>\n

Vance:<\/strong><\/span> I\u2019m talking about the kind of diplomacy that\u2019s going to end the destruction of your country.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy:<\/strong><\/span> Yes, but if you\u2026<\/p>\n

Vance:<\/strong><\/span> Mr President, with respect, I think it\u2019s disrespectful for you to come to the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the frontlines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy:<\/strong> <\/span>Have you ever been to Ukraine to see the problems we have?<\/p>\n

Vance<\/span>:<\/strong> I\u2019ve actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people on a propaganda tour, Mr President.<\/p>\n

And it is that last comment that social media users cannot get over. And the tweets flooded in. Here are some of the most savage responses shared to X:<\/p>\n
