Tammy Slaton has been attempting to lose weight on television for the last few years as she stars on the show 1000-lb Sisters with her sister, Amy Slaton.<\/p>\n
The show started in 2020, and since then, the reality TV star has lost almost 500 lbs (226 kgs). The show details her journey as she tries to opt for a more healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Tammy underwent an eight-hour surgery. The results of the surgery left her and everyone around her stunned. When she saw the results of the surgery, the first words out of her mouth were just, \u201cBoy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
The momentous moment showed two people cutting away Tammy\u2019s bandages as she put on her glasses and looked into the mirror in front of her.<\/p>\n
Her sister, Misty, and brother, Chris Coombs, stood next to her as the bandages came off and revealed a new, leader chin for Tammy.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I\u2019m hoping Tammy sees a new person in that mirror,\u201d Coombs told said.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s put all this work in to lose all this d*mn weight, so it\u2019s time for her to feel good, too, about herself.\u201d<\/p>\n
